Our minds often race to think of how we can please God. We think and plan everything we must do to please Him, forgetting He is already well pleased. But the question is, what is He seeking? What is the number one thing that He desires? Let’s find out. 

Waking up one day, I heard the Father say, “Son while being skilful is part of walking in excellence, availability is most important in My Kingdom. My Word in Isaiah 1:19 says, if you’re willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land. That means, time and again, I will test your availability. Remember, son, your availability is not primarily for doing something for Me but to serve Me in My temple. I’m always seeking the ones who seek me early and willingly. My heart is always looking for the hungry and passionate ones, to reward them and show My strength through them”. 

Isn’t it so freeing to understand that God does not wait for us to run around and do things for Him? What’s essential for him is when we willingly choose to spend time with Him, read His Word, and know Him. In other words, He wants us to learn to operate as He does, and this will only be the result of being available every day to know Him and learn from His Word.
