A lot has changed post Covid-19. Your favourite restaurant, favourite snack and even the Church you once had to go to is now at home with just a click on the phone. Yes, we’ve tried our best to recover and get back to normal, as some would say, but we cannot reverse everything, can we? I once was trying to understand why going to Church and fellowship with our brothers and sisters is so important, and here’s what the Lord said.

I heard, “My Son, fellowshipping with one another is as important as spending time with Me alone. As you keep yourself aloof from the company of people and from gathering with one another, you become more susceptible to the attacks of the enemy. A unified body is a strong body that can stand against the enemy’s wiles. It is against this unified body that the gates of hell shall never prevail”. 

I was excited to learn more. I wanted to understand God’s perspective of gathering together. So I asked Him, “Father, how must we fellowship together”? He said, “Whenever you get together, have a lot of fun! Have communion together as often as you can in remembrance of Me. Be loud and free in singing your praises. Make your praise joyful and vibrant. Don’t allow the devil to confine you in condemnation and self-criticism. 

What you just read may sound challenging to some, but the Father has already shared His heart with us. Let’s make sure we have a lot of fun in our gatherings. Can we make sure to praise Him with all our hearts? Can we resound our praises loud? Let us continually break bread and remind ourselves that we are victorious in Christ today.
