I want to share about an experience I had, where before someone gave me a call, I already knew what they would talk about and what I should say to them. Excited for this? Let’s dive in! 

I was at home on the 20th of September 2018, and it was day time. Honestly, there was nothing very spiritual about that moment. I was simply aware of the Presence of the Lord and was worshipping Him in my heart while doing my work. Suddenly, I heard in my thoughts, “it isn’t good for Rohit (name changed) to separately start a brand or a company while living in the same house with his parents”. Since this thought just came out of nowhere I had almost forgotten about it. But after an hour or so I got a call from Rohit. He said, “Hey brother, I want some advice from you regarding the process of forming a separate company, the costs involved, and so on”…. That is when I was reminded of the impression that I had received earlier that day. I tried to remember what I had heard and then I knew that God had already given an answer to his question and I lovingly spoke to him without even mentioning that I had heard about this already from God. I told him plainly that it won’t be appropriate for him to make that move and I advised him to continue to be a blessing for his family through the business that he was already involved in and I guess he got my point. Today, he is not just doing that one business, but he owns multiple businesses and he is thriving. I cannot describe how faithful God has been to him. All his businesses are thriving today. 

When we read the Bible, we see repeatedly how Jesus knew the thoughts of others. Many times it is written that knowing their thoughts, He responded. The reason why I’m sharing an experience from 2018 is that this was a time of learning for me. As I would read my Bible, especially the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke & John), every time I would come across a verse that said Jesus knew their thoughts I would stop. And I would say in my mind, “Wow, I want this! Lord, help me to know the thoughts and intents as You knew”. Little did I know, God was not only highlighting this to me but also preparing me to know the thoughts and intents of the hearts of people. He took me through a journey of teaching and learning so that today I can recognize and know the thoughts and intents of others. Can I know the thoughts and intents of all the people? I would say, it is the Holy Spirit who helps me and brings revelation. Our role must be to yield to the Holy Spirit to do what He wants to do. 

Now, what is the point that I’m trying to make through all this? Please pay attention to your thoughts, your imaginations. That is where it all starts. As you learn to steward the little that you have, God will multiply. He doesn’t add but multiplies so that you can be a blessing to many!
