We’re in the midst of such significant times and there are a few things that I feel the Lord has impressed upon my heart to share with you all in this blog. I want to be as practical as possible today and I’ve done my best to keep it simple for everyone to understand.
1. I felt an impression within me to “Encourage the Kids to Study On Their Own”. To teach them and make them understand that it is possible. The greatest and the best Teacher is within them. I also had this thought of sharing few stories of people who studied on their own to encourage you all. These are the greatest days for self-learning because all the information is freely available to us on the internet. So as parents or guardians, I encourage you all to identify the talents and interests of your kids and start investing in those areas.
Abraham Lincoln– His total schooling was less than a year and the rest of his education was through self-teaching. He was a keen reader, sometimes reading and rereading many of the same books throughout his life. He is still considered to be one of the greatest presidents of a country.
Thomas Edison– He received all of his education through homeschooling with his mother, and then made his own method of learning and self-education (I hope this encourages all the mothers out there. You are awesome. If she could do it, so can you!). He loved to read books on different topics. At 12 years old he started selling newspapers and then began publishing his own, which was his first step on a long road of business ideas.
Albert Einstein– He was told he would never achieve anything in life and his future seemed hopeless but his natural talent for maths and physics, and his passion for acquiring knowledge, proved everyone wrong.
Other examples include Henry Ford (Founder, Ford Motor Company), Colonel Harland Sanders (Founder, KFC).
Remember, “The greatest success is not in the wealth accumulated but in our generosity”.
2. I also felt the Lord impress upon my heart to “encourage people not to panic and hoard food, clothing, or anything else! I’m their Shepherd. I know My sheep and what they need. I will provide. Did I leave you or abandon you in the year 2020 without food, clothing, or shelter? Do not worry, I will take care. The only intent of the enemy is that you dispense cash out of fear. There’s a set of people who are greedy at this time, greedy to take in money from people by inducing fear”. We’re not fearful anymore. We’re fearless! Because the Lord says “Do not fear for I am with you”. He is our provider and our greatest help. Here are some points to be applied in this season.
- I would suggest that you keep some cash ready because when everything shuts, make use of the opportunity to sow, invest in markets, businesses, and real estate! The market follows a cycle and it will bounce back. These are the times when Issac had sown and he reaped a hundredfold. Everything you now have with you is a seed that the Lord gave. He alone increases the supply of the seed so that you can sow in different places.
- Do not fear! The Lord is with you. All your plans will succeed if you do it with a clear motive. Hear the voice of your conscience if at any moment it pricks you. Don’t let it be seared in any way. The Lord is your protector. He has given His mighty angels charge over you to keep you and watch over you. Draw near to Him in this season and His voice will help you navigate through. Feed on what He is saying. Start remembering and declaring all that He said in the past seasons. The words from His mouth are Spirit and life. When people around us are dying, we’re called to release the life that we carry within us!
- Protect yourself from the influence of the world and all that is happening in it and become aware of who you are and Who you carry, for He is greater than all. Though a thousand may fall dead by your side, know, that you will live for eternity. To know Him alone is life eternal. I encourage you to spend time with Him, dear friends! Spend time to hear from Him and learn from Him. There is nothing greater than His Presence in our lives. All our earthly agendas, goals, missions are temporary. Only He is eternal and we in Him. Feed on the Word and study to show yourself approved.
- Lives will be transformed by the evidence of the power of God flowing through our lives. It will affect streets, cities, and nations. You don’t have to become powerful, you are! You don’t have to become anointed, you are! Only believe. You are the cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night, you are the burning fire amid minds frozen with fear. Your presence will cause the hearts of people to burn, to weep, and return to the One who has always loved them and priced them above all. Only believe! Do not strive to be something you already are. The only striving to be done is to enter rest. To enter rest is to believe who you are. And when you do believe, the soul will try to disagree and your mind will give you 10 reasons why you’re not who you think you are. Release the Word of God immediately to sever the soul from your Spirit. Keep at it, not once or twice but repeatedly, till there is a separation for the Word of God is capable of doing it.
Remember, wisdom is important. With all the energy that you have in you, get wisdom! Choose to apply the wisdom of God.
3. Throughout the night in different dreams, I was seeing encouragement and felt the Lord was saying keep encouraging each other. Hebrews 10:25 was highlighted when I woke up, which says, “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another and all the more as you see the Day approaching”. I feel the greatest deception of the enemy at this hour is to stop us from fellowshipping and meeting each other. How? By introducing fear and distance. If only we believe that we’re born from above and the Presence of God dwells within us, you and I will never be afraid of meeting people, encouraging people who are sick and needy. Dear friends, the people need us and we need them. I want to encourage you all to understand the Law of the Spirit of Life in you that has separated you and set you free from the law of sin and death. You carry divine life and tremendous power within you. Make use of it. Do not fear, do not be afraid. He loves you and you are precious in His sight.
