Before we dive into today’s blog, I would love to share a verse with you all just to set a context of what I’m going to share with you all today. James 1:2-4 says, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything”.
I want to be real and vulnerable with you all regarding the season of my life. As I woke up from a dream and was pondering on what it meant, these were my thoughts, “I feel like I’m in one of the toughest tests I’ve had so far and it is difficult. Lord, help me cooperate with you in this. You have already assigned your angels to help me in this. I receive their help & ministration. Open my eyes I pray, amen.
My heart was heavy and I felt helpless, and I began to wait on the Lord after this. I had a wonderful experience as I was waiting. Remember, when you seek Him with all your heart, you will find Him. He is found in the silence my dear friends and He will never let you down. His voice is so precious dear friends that it changes everything. His voice is everything my dear friends, full of love and so reassuring. I pray that you fall in love with His voice today. There is nothing more beautiful and precious than His companionship with us. Now I want you to brace yourselves and get ready for this one. Are you ready to hear what is and will be the greatest test of our lives? Believe me, after you read this, you’ll understand that this applies to every area of our lives.
As I was waiting and my heart became still, in that silence I heard, “the greatest test is in your ability or disability to trust in God in the middle of the crisis you’re in. If you’re being tested in your finances, then the test to pass is not in your giving but in your ability or disability to trust in your Father to provide for you and to take care of you. If you’re being tested in the area of relationships, then it isn’t about the right or wrong person, or who to date and who not to, but in your ability to trust in your Father regarding your future, to provide for you and lead you to green pastures”. As I came out of this experience, I was stunned at His response. I understood that it is always the heart that He looks at firstly, and then the actions. He always looks at the heart, my dear friends. Whatever situation you’re in today, whatever the circumstances may be, irrespective of the crisis you may be in, trust in the ability of your Heavenly Father to take care of you, to provide for you, to lead you. Allow Him to bring a separation between the soul and spirit in that particular area so that the eyes of your heart are enlightened to the truth. Hebrews 4:12 says that “God’s word (the spoken Word or to make it easier, His voice) is alive and powerful! It is sharper than any double-edged sword. His word can cut through our spirits and souls and our joints and marrow until it discovers the desires and thoughts of our hearts”. So take time and hear from Him. Read the Word and pay attention, as soon as anything is highlighted pause, speak it over, and start thinking about it. Immerse yourselves in what God is saying to you. He will take care of you. Trust Him!
