I enjoy it when someone releases words of direction that also leave a sense of confirmation within our spirit. I’m sure there are more people like me. So I’ve decided to do the same! As I tell you this, I’m shaking my head with laughter, but the last time I shared a prophetic word on my website was the 29th of January, 2022, after which I stopped blogging. But that’s not the story for now. If God has called me to write, I will be willing and obedient to be a blessing. 

While praying with some of our leaders a few weeks ago, I noted some things highlighted in my spirit for the coming year. 

1. “Pour out these treasures that you’re carrying in jars of clay to the next generation”- I felt a great urgency behind this voice, as though He said, “Don’t hold within yourselves, but give away to the next generation”. It includes mentoring, fathering, teaching, writing and raising servant leaders who will one day be influential thinkers and history-makers. Great leaders are never shy of menial jobs. You can find them cleaning toilets and wiping floors because it isn’t about them. They’ve found their true purpose. All they require is the proper mentoring. 

2. “This is the year of great faith and great plunder”- It was almost as if the Lord whispered, “Your great faith, son, will bring about great recoveries this year”. It is time now to believe in the Lord for something that is beyond your natural abilities to achieve. He will honour your faith!

3. Forgiveness will come like a wave in the coming year. I see many restorations in families, relationships restored, and individuals forgiving each other. 

4. “Believe me for big businesses and ask me where the big money is”- While I was writing this, I recall my conversation with a Pastor from Norway. It was inspiring to hear about his construction business and the magnitude of projects they handled. He said, “Stanley, God honours our faith to start a cafe, a car wash, etc., but He is also interested in telling us where the biggest wealth is if our focus is on seeing the Church grow and His will come to pass on earth”. I believe the most incredible businesses are yet to be born, and God wants to release the strategy to do it. Are we indeed His disciples? While the world is busy accumulating wealth for themselves, we will look different when all our wealth is only to see the Kingdom of God expand. I reassure you that if you have this mindset, the Lord will ensure you will never lack anything good. 

5. I also felt our faith in sowing unto God will expand this year. I recall my Dad always saying and teaching this principle on sowing: “You give to God, and you will receive from God”. Our sowing now will not just be out of our love for Jesus but also based on this trust that I’m now giving to God to see His will come to pass and I will receive from Him. 

6. I saw new challenges for churches, unprecedented growth, and greater levels of anointing released by the Lord. This year, the book of Acts will be such a great key to seeing and understanding how the disciples overcame challenges and how the Lord allowed them to move with such power, precision and authority. 

7. Lastly, I’ve saved the best one for now. I hope you’re ready to read this. I felt strongly the Lord saying, “I’m ready”! I saw this picture of an athlete ready to take off when he hears the word “GO”. The Lord is prepared to show His power and do mighty exploits through us. The question is, are we ready?
