As I pondered this dream, I understood what the Lord was trying to teach me. Well, here’s the dream first. I saw cars moving on a busy road, but just below the road, it was full of water. I saw a man swimming across, under the road in the water. For a moment, I felt like he was drowning, and the worst thing was that no one could see him since he was under the main road. It was a strange feeling during my younger days when I started cycling without the training wheels on the sides! Initially, someone always held the cycle and walked with me. One could easily see the excitement in my eyes, but this thought kept coming back, “if he leaves me, I’ll fall face down”. I remember how my brother pushed the cycle and ran with me as I cycled with a big smile and the wind running across my face, blowing my hair behind! Oh, what a feeling! But the moment I looked back, he wasn’t there! By the time I realised what just happened, I was already down on the road, bleeding. Once I got up, I realised I could cycle a few metres without support.

When we read 1 Kings 19:9-18, we see a hilarious conversation between Elijah and the Lord where he felt he was the only one left and the other had been killed.
